Sorry, been in the garage all day making VROOM sounds!

Took the day off and went to breakfast with my friend, no hurry, Gary (Stewart driver) told me last week that he'd be at my place by noon. I texted him @ 9:30 (while I was at breakfast) and asked if he was on schedule, he said "no", he was ahead of schedule and would be at my place at 10:15! ****! I gotta get my butt home!
He pulled up @ 10!

Sitting in my garage, FINALLY!

And LOTS of boxes (still need to invetory them tomorrow, but I did go thru them and check them out). Not much backordered, both chrome roll-bars, 302 headers, and rear IRS bolts(s). not bad.

BigLeo dropped by with his friend John and his Hemi powered ratrod. That thing is cool, it's a Hudson Teraplane.

Jeff, I picked up the seats from a local Cobra owner. He said they were in a B&B (if I remember correctly) and he replaced them. The price was good and there was no shipping, so I took a chance. I know I want high-back seats (I'll be selling my low backs that came with the kit, just haven't listed them yet). They aren't bad, but they are TIGHT.
Best I can tell the seat measures (outside width):21" (shoulders), 22" (waist), 21" (thighs)

Here's my choices (in order, based on size only) in the Corbeau seats:
#1: TRS 20.5" (shoulders), 19" (waist), 20" (thighs)
#2: LG1 20.5" (shoulders), 19.5" (waist), 20.5" (thighs)
#3: CR1 21" (shoulders), 19.5" (waist), 20.5" (thighs)
#4: A4 21.5" (shoulders), 20" (waist), 19.5" (thighs)

I'm just rough fitting these, with no seat mounts yet, just trying to get an idea.
Right now, the mystery seats are tight at the shoulders and the thighs (requires that they are not square to the floor, hitting on trans tunnel. I've heard the aluminum may be persuaded to push in to accomodate them. No way could you run a side-mount E-brake with these seats!)

Still investigating, let me know if you have any suggestions or additional information.

If anyone is interested, I created a comparison document, I'd be glad to email you if you PM me.

The driver told me he was heading to Baton Rouge, but maybe he was confused.
Monroe!! I spent a week there one day!
Actually, I spent MANY weeks & weekends there with work. I don't have a phone number for him, but I think his member-name is knucklebuster.
