I'm stuck between Dunlap Direzza ZII
Or
Yokohama Advan Neova AD08R
Anyone here have any experience with either of these?

I believe the Yokohama will give you a little more traction from what I've seen and I read somewhere, that I can't recall, very recently that they actually use a steel insert in the sidewall to improve stiffness.
On a personal note I've never owned either of these tires just read about them.

I've never used either, but my wheels have AD08's on them, waiting for the rest of the car to get done. I've heard so many good things about them I didn't hesitate to buy them.
I'm going to go with the AD08R's on my 818

Some reviewers have preferred the BFG Rival.

I have the Rivals on my Miata but they are not available in sizes I'm looking for on 818

I'll probably try a set of Federal 595 RS-R's. Tough to find, but a supposed performance bargain. Never used them before, but Erik put them on his 818 and seems happy; they're cheap enough, so if I'm not pleased, no big deal.

I have the BFG G Force Rivals in 215/45 R17 and 255/40 R17, so far untested but they got very good reviews, especially for warmer temps

I only got my kit this month, so I'm not progressed far enough to give a firm recommendation on clearance yet.
I bought +45 offset Enkei wheels and 5 mm spacers, so I don't believe there will be problems, but can't confirm

It's the diameter that's the issue, not the width. 215/40 on 17s is what most have been using to avoid rubbing in front.

I called FFR and the tech said a 215/45r17 will work in the front.

I am using 215/40/17, but 215/45/17 should work but might rub very slightly at a full lock

Yokohama Advan Neova AD08R
All the way. Prices are very good, look is great, compound is really sticky, tires are super quiet, super precise and very comfortable. I just don't know how they behave in rain as I don't use the car in rain.

Thanks Frank
I did end up going with the Advan and am very happy with them, now all I need is a kit to put them on.
