Here's some thought I had. I think if the Subaru dash was wrapped or skinned in carbon-fibre along with the centre strip of the current dashboard it would look ok - not brilliant just ok. If I decide not to use the heater (New Zealand can get cold) then I would put the Prodrive oil pressure, oil temperature and boost gauges that came with my donor in the vacant slots. I am thinking of mounting an Android tablet where the head-unit goes and hook up to the ODB-II bus for another set of electronic gauges plus navigation, music, phone, lap-timing etc. Just at the thinking stage as my kit is not due to July.
