What have you guys done to close this are in. Seems it only blocks part of the hole.

Surprise surprise...I made new ones. Actually, in all fairness, because I used a different dash I had to make new ones. I used the same idea but instead of the lower tab you show going out to the frame I made tabs so that they are under the the end piece. I also used a piece of bulb trim along the edge that goes up the roll bar.
I'll try to dig up a picture for you.

x2 what Marc said...surprise, surprise...I made replacements. In final assembly the tab went on the outside of the body.

Look through your photos you took of my coupe. There must be one showing the side and pillar covers I made and had powder coated in wrinkle black. If you can't find any let me know and I'll take a picture of the covers and e-mail it to you. They are not installed at the moment until I get the windshield installed and then I'll put them on. They were made to cover the area from mid dash area right up to the top roll bar area.
