I keep staring and staring, but I can't figure out the words to express how amazing that dash looks. The one word that continuously pops to mind is "wow". Wow!!!! That's too nice to put in a car. You should keep it in the house. :)

JJ-

Awesome job on the dash as well as the entire console! I love the leather and wood combination; it really makes both of them really pop.

I bet you can't wait to get it installed. Nice vision and great execution!

Well done!

Steve

I very rarely like wood dashes, but this really is beautiful. Very nicely done.

John,

Real artistry and craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing; think shows how much "love" you put in it.

PS I love working in wood also.

Very nice creativity and well executed. There is a "Show your Dash" thread on the other forum that you need to post it in.

I don't know what I like better: the finish or the design. You could not have laid out the gauges like that without the wood panel so they complement each other perfectly.

That's pretty special! Wow!!!

Thanks for sharing,

WEK.

Very beautiful, indeed. The center console's form is very close to what I plan to fabricate for my Coupe. What material did you use to make the framework on the console? Wood, fiberglass, sheet metal, other?

Post photos of this work of art once it's installed on the car.

Ya know, I usually prefer the standard or comp style dashes on FFRs since they are more or less 'correct' for the car. But your dash is so EXTREMELY well done that I would enjoy it in my FFR. It reminds me of some 40s era Ford sedan I was walking by at a cruise in. I was prepared to just keep going because they don't usually interest me, but, out of the corner of my eye, I saw the interior. Did a double back and stood there in awe. I would not want everything I see to be in my car, but I always appreciate superb craftsmanship and you have that in spades. Great job!!!

Hi JJ,

Nice meeting and getting a chance to talk with you at David's by the barbeque grill. Thanks for bringing an example of your work to the party: sort of show and tell. Anyway, that is nice work and design/planning. Good luck, WEK.
