ECM Mounting Problems

I have a 99 - 04 ECM Mounting Bracket, but the problem I am having is that the computer will only fit one way in on the bracket and it would end up having to be mounted up-side down in the GTM.. This will not work because the engine wire harness plugs can't be plugged in with the ECM mounted up-side down.. I am not sure what bracket they used in the build manual, but what have others used to mount their ECMs onto the mount that is on the GTM??

I have used that bracket on many builds. There are mods that need to be done to the bracket which are outlined in the donor tear-down section of the build manual. That is all pretty well documented in the manual and I would guess that the majority of GTM builders (especially early builders when that was the only ECU available) have used that bracket with success, so you may want to look in the manual and see what you're doing different than the manual shows.
