Need a replacement viscous coupler from a 1999 or older phase2 trans for my 2003 Outback base model.
I understand these are removed for a 818 mod kit. The part number for 5MT Phase2 center diff (4kgf) is 38913AA101. It was superseded to 38913AA102.
FWIW, I have a 59-TY754VCDCA trans and a ej251, but my reading of the forums says any 1999 MY or greater Center Diff Type listed as "Viscous (4kgf)" in the spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0Arn4cKipveCSdGVNNG0ybUo2T2ZjeEJUTVY2UURnb 0E&output=html)should work.
