I have a MKII that I built from an '88 Mustang donor. When using the donor speedometer it was necessary to split the speedometer-end connector and clamp it on with a small radiator-style clamp. Every time I take the dash out and have to remove and reinstall the speedometer cable I wing up with scraped up hands and lots of frustration.
Can anyone tell me which speedometer cable to use to get one with a screw on end at the speedometer connector?
Thanks,

Breeze has good cables...used them on my cars. The one you need will depend on if you're using the vehicle speed sensor or not. Give him a call and he'll get you what you need.

Lawrence , I saw your question posted ffcars, too, thought I'd reply here. I don't have any solutions, but if Breeze has the right one, I may end up with one in my future. The method you outlined certainly is a PITA, and I've been frustrated by it several times myself. I have the Autometer reverse-reading speedo and the hose clamp arrangement on the 90 degree adapter. It is not the greatest setup.
