The wind wing kit I received does not have the same components as the instructions. The brackets are totally different. It looks like you have to drill and tap the windshield edge??? The instructions look like the MK3 stuff. These brackets are totally different and the chrome pieces do not fit the windshield edge?? I have a mk4

they should align with the prexisting windshield bolts, the bottem one and 3rd up from the bottem, switch out the screws with the longer ones............HTH Steven

Hi Roy - I agree with Henry that a photo of what you've got would give the answer. The hardware for the sun visors is very similar, and there was one other instance recently where the hardware was mixed up.
