I've got a story that speaks to both of those ...
Years ago, when my 31 year old son was the size of little Billy in the cartoon, I was changing the muffler and tailpipe on my '81 Honda Accord. After much grunting and swearing, I finally got the old, rusty pieces removed. When I went to install the new pieces, I couldn't find the combination wrench that I needed ... I knew it had to be somewhere because I had just used it to take off the old bolts. Finally, after much searching and maybe a little more swearing, I picked up the new muffler and shook it. Yes, it rattled and when I held it with the inlet to the ground, the wrench I was looking for fell out of it. My little "helper" kind of looked at me with that look that said, "how did that wrench get in there?"
