Are there any Mainers on the forum?
I just ordered my Mk4 and a few Maine related question came up that I don't know the answer to.
What is the title process up here in Maine?
Do we need to get a DOT inspection prior to title?
Are we required to have windshield wipers?
Are we required to have catalytic converters (on a 1994 5.0)?
I didn't order the windshield wipers or the cats yet. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Where are you located? The answer to many of your questions is it depends... you know what I mean! I'll be at that part soon.

I've decided to use a cat and wipers on my 818 just to avoid hassles. The inspection book requires wipers, my mechanic said he would sticker it w/o one.
