Hey friends,
Big day yesterday. My GTM took its first breath and purred like a kitten. The crate LS3 fired up immediately, and settled into a very nice 700 rpm idle. I had a few very minor fuel leaks that were fixed in about 2 minutes - really need to remember to tighten down those AN fittings! No engine codes were thrown so it all looks good. No coolant leaks either. Thanks to Ron (Presto51) for his help!
This GTM is using Crash's heater bypass valve, I added a Canton tank, and the lovely sound you can hear in the video is Shane's Kooks exhaust.
The tachometer and oil pressure gauge are functioning correctly, though something's not quite right with my coolant temp gauge. I've got two senders in the heads, one for the ECU (reads correctly), and one for the gauge. Both senders measure the same resistance at the same temperature (both work correctly), but my gauge reads about 60 degrees low. Figured I'd call FFR about it tomorrow.
