For the second year, Krueger Tuned Racing will be entering their Factory Five Daytona Coupe in the One Lap of America Race. The start of the race is less than a month away. Like last year the race will start at the Tire Rack facility in South Bend, IN on May 3rd. The car is pretty much ready to go with just a couple of small items left to do. My Dad and I have had a lot more seat time in the car so we should be up on the flat part of the learning curve now. We have only made a few changes to the car: I put a LS6 intake manifold on the engine good for a few more HP, we got the rear brake pad knock problem 95% fixed, we added more engine compartment cooling, and I got the computer to run the AC system now.

We would love to see you at the events if you can make it. They are all free to come and watch. Thanks for keeping a great Blog. It sounds like you are off to a great start.

I've always thought the One Lap would be a ball to do. I'm a two time graduate of the La Carrera Panamericana and thoroughly enjoyed those times. (1991 and '94).

Autocross video is up on 25tires.com. Finished 10th.

The first track event is done, we are still waiting for the results.

How much idle time do you have at each track? Or is it stop in, do the run and leave?

We get to the track at about 8 in the morning and leave at about 2 or 3pm. It takes them 2 to 3 hours to run each event. You are only on the track for 5 laps so the rest of the time is hanging out.
