I don't want to get too far ahead of myself but so far so good.
Its a running driving Go Cart. The Pinion angle is close considering the ride height is still a little high at 5". The frt end is aligned to the high ride height, I know I'll have to tweak it all later. I see no mechanical or electrical problems. The only electrical system not hooked up is the lights. The Roll bar is fabbed up and fit up and off to the chrome shop. Standard seats have been fit drilled and removed. Anything I'm overlooking before fitting the body up before body work?

Go for it. The biggest hassle in putting it on or off is simply rounding up a couple of helpers. Good luck!

Don't put on the elephant ears till the last thing. After paint.
I had the body on and off several times. I did it by myself with ropes, hooks, annd concrete blocks (do a search on the forum across the hall if you are interested). I would suggest that you un handcuff the tail lights and have them wired and ready before mounting body. Much easier than wiring while the body is on.
Go for it,
Arch

Do you have a link to that! That had to be a sight to behold!

During my build process, I had the MKII body on and off a total of three times. When it went on the first time, I took that opportunity to check that maintenance access (with the body on) is not a problem. Everything mechanical is so easy to reach and adjust before the body drops on, and I just didn't want any surprises once everything gets buttoned up.

I'm expecting mine to be on and off a few times.

As Arch mentioned, the ceiling hooks, rope, and cinder blocks are a great way to go. I have taken my body off 3 or 4 times by myself, with no problems. Simple, elegant and easy. Search may be on the other Forum.

Go for it!! Congrats!!
I installed my body for the first time ~2 wks ago. It's a great feeling. Interference points that I had (and several others have posted the same) is the frame corners at the top/outside corner of the seat backs (is that a decent description?). I had to lift the body back up and do a little grinding to get it to clear enough for the back two side body bolt holes to line up (the rear two bolt holes on each side, just forward of the rear tire). I was able to do it easily with two people; I'm 6ft/200 lbs and my father in law is shorter/heavier. We were able to handle it easily. Just remember to put a 2X4 between front (center of dash) & rear (between seats) of cockpit to minimize flex.

I'll have to search for that since its got to be good to know even if I don't have to do it. Any search hints? My luck with forum searches is not so great.

I wish I knew how to reference a previous post.
3k, the one you are looking for was posted by dv/dt, on 7-17-08 on the other forum, under the heading of "I get airborne". I am still using it on my build and it is really ingenious.
