I am happy to report that my Coyote is now running well. I tried each of the three tunes that JMS provided and - surprise! - liked the "Max Power" the best. The engine runs smooth and even, and beyond 3,500 rpm really starts pumping out the power. Until about 3,200 rpm the exhaust note is a deep rumble, and beyond that it gradually changes to a louder "blaaat" -- enough to let people know this isn't a Buick, but not painful or sharp.

Note - I ran my exhaust under the car and am using a customer muffler and pipe setup from Stainless Headers. I also installed baffles from Car Chemistry downstream from the muffler. These probably eat up a few hp but I've got more than enough as it is. I'm beginning to feel more comfortable in the car - now have about 150 miles. Not quite ready to take guests out for a ride yet, but at least I'm not scared of the car anymore. Yes - I respect it, but no, I'm not terrified (like I was the first time I drove it....)

Is the stalling and stumbling gone? What do you idle at? Glad to hear of the progress.

David, is this with or without the Speed Dial?

No speed dial. Stalling problem gone. Idle is low - will check. On acceleration is smooth. Had a stumble around 3800 rpm early on, but may have been because engine was cold. After 15-20 min, engine responded at virtually any speed without stumbles. A few backfires on deceleration. Big, big improvement vs performance with factory tune. It tickles me that a "tune-up" means a software update....

Could you explain to me how the JMS tune works? Contact #, who to talk to, info they require, what they send and how to install the tune(s); is it something I can easily do?, cost.

Cheers, Dale
