It will please Jim, Dave, and everyone to know that I've successfully used an ETX115 AGM
powersports battery in my DD for two hard winters and going on the third hard summer with zero issues.
It ways 11lbs and is only one third the size of the group 26 batteries normally fitted to Subarus.
It can be easily packaged in the 818 and costs around 65 USD. I bought mine from Battery Mart in Winchester VA online.
