Hi, I'm thinking of building a ff 33 hr. Here's the question, I'm 6'3" with very long legs (36" inseam ). Most street rods I've tried to sit in don't have adequate leg room. There are 2 33's within an hours drive from me that are either done or semi done, however I can't contact them other than a private message which neither have read. They are Tigerbill and Unicoiman. Does anybody out there have any advice on how to contact them or someone who has dealt with the legroom issue that could help? I am in Northeast Tennessee about an hour from the tri-cities area. Bristol,Johnson city, Kingsport. Thanks

I have had prospective builders at my house a little larger than you (6-4/280) to sit in the 33. They both were surprised with the amount of room. The only problem they saw was with the foot room due to the AOD cover. This problem has been corrected with later kits, mine is 076. I have no idea how to get in touch with the builders in your area, sorry.

Check my build site for a photo of my son 6'5" 280 in the car. You can do the following to maximize the leg room:

-Use Kirkey seats, pushed all the way back, add extra padding to support your thighs at a higher angle.
-the trans tunnel can be narrowed
-Wear very narrow shoes, I use Merril Barefoots which make a real difference
-mount the gas pedal as close to the firewall as possible.
-use a tilt wheel
-install the NRG steering wheel tilt device to make it easier to get in and out. It also moves the wheel back two inches which will help to clear your knees.

I'm 6-2 and have adequate room. If you're ever in Atlanta PM me and you're welcome to try it on.

bummer, I was just in Atlanta 2 weeks ago. Oh well thanks anyway. I will try something else. The big spring rod run in Pigeon forge Tn is this weekend maybe I'll find one there. Any idea on where I could post my request on these forums? I'd like to know if anybody out there is planning on going so that We might be able to meet up. Thanks
