Brake reservoir

Has any one had any issues with the stainless brake reservoir leaking from the seal around the cap? Mine seems
to leak and I haven't even started driving yet.

And the fact that they aren't vented makes me wonder how the air will get in to allow the fluid to go into the master cylinder as the pads wear.
I am thinking of going to the plastic Wilwood reservoir instead.

Interesting, I haven't taken mine out of the box yet. Don't like the elevation situation on those cylinders either. May have to improvise, adapt, and overcome. Perhaps the seal is of unknown pedigree from an unregulated region of manufacturing with the initials PRC??

Mine has been installed for a while and has not leaked but neither were the hoses that FF has replaced twice.

I actually replaced mine last night with the plastic Wilwood reservoir along with the new red hoses. I found that when they polished the corner where it was welded together they had actually gone through the weld and the seem was open. So it was leaking.
