Rocket attacks suck

This is just me venting, I cant tell my wife or family, dont want them to worry. The fighting season is begining and we are now getting rocket attacks every week. The closest one, 50 yards from my office. I go out to the district center (where the court is and where they hand out IDs) twice a week. They have blown up 3 district centers sence Ive been here. Im not crying about it, I know thats what I signed up for, but it does make you think about how precious life is. I guess what Im getting at is this sucks over here. I miss my wife and family. And please keep us military guys in you prayers.

You have no idea Leo. Havent these guys watched 300???? Wheres the honor in setting up IED and blowing up woman and childern? The old Afghan fighters had honor, they showed it against the Russians, but these guys are just bullies and sissys. They say that God is with them, well their God must be a track star to keep up with all the running away they do.

I can't imagine how frustrating it must be, fighting against an invisible army. One minute they are shaking your hand, and giving you the thumbs up, the next they are aiming a rocket launcher at you. Friggin cowards.

It would be nice if the same tactics could be used against the taliban. Little make up, dress in the local garb, drive a beater, and catch them red handed where they live. A few attacks done incognito like that, would have them looking over their shoulders before long, not knowing where they are safe. While in Rome do as the Romans do..

They used women and children in Korea and Vietnam as well... I don't have a clue what the fiber is that these people are made of... Certainly not human..
