Oil filter relocation

Thanks for the input on the M.C. reservoirs...I ordered the CNC triple setup today.... and speaking of today, mounted the Breeze Battery box on the front X member...which is where FFR recommends putting the remote oil filter assembly...Is there any issue mounting it on the opposite side in similar location on driver side ?? Ford 302 for motorvation.

Don't use the relocation kit. Use the 90* adapter from Breeze. Filter will spin on with no clearance problems.

What headers are you using?

With the 4-into-4 setup, you don't need to use the filter relocation or 90 degree adapter.

I started out with shorties and had already installed the relocator. Then I changed to the 4x4 headers which took away the need. I have read about some issues with relocators due to engine oil pressure and temp but can't really get enough info to verify specifically what those issues are. I like simple applications to reduce failure potential. I'm just not convinced the oil filter relocator is worth the trouble. Good luck, WEK.

What headers are you using?

I'd like to use the ceramic coated 4 port headers but not sure if i can get that thru NJ inspection with new 302 Ford Racing crate engine...
