Is anyone else frustrated by the brake fluid tubing debacle? I received notice a few weeks ago that the tubing supplied with the Wilwood brake set up was actually fuel line and would not work. There were actually none of the markings (on the originally supplied tubing) described in the letter from F5. However, to be safe, I dutifully replaced the lines with the supplied new tubing. Actually I had two choices in tubing because I also bought the stainless steel brake fluid reservoir to replace the leaky plastic one. Now I have been informed that all the previously supplied lines are no good and have to replace them again.

Very frustrating!

Jerry,
Just got my 3rd set of hoses, these are the red ones. I know it is frustrating, but at least the FFR folks are on top of the problem. This stuff happens with airplane manufacturers all the time, and some of them do not address the situation as well as FFR has.

Bill:

I am trying to be patient. I realize FFR is trying make sure we are safe. However, both my brother and I are building Coupes (after both building FFR Cobras) so this has caused us six installations of the brake tubing between us. His car is complete so we had to cut additional access panels and have sliced our hands up pretty good getting the new lines in his car (gloves don't work in the tight spots). In addition, we need some additional red tubing and now FFR is out. Sorry...guess I am just venting a bit.
