FFR #348 Description of Setting
Submitted by Geoff Whittington, taken by Bruce Hawkins. Bruce's road trip setup. I have no idea on the camera or settings but this rig is awesome. The tow vehicle is clearly a 33HR. The trailer is a custom made teardrop constructed by Bruce. The bike is a Sportsman 200 we think.
From Bruce: The trailer hitch is from Erik Hansen (ehansen007) It is a bolt in hitch but I modifyed it to a weld in. I built the trailer with weight in mind. It tips the scales at 420 lbs. That includes a 5 gallon fuel cell, 12v battrey, a fuel pump, 10 foot fuel delivery hose, battrey charger, 12v to 120v ac inverter, 120 volt heater. and trailer cover. I start my road trips in 25 days and I should put about 9500 miles on the car by late August. Location
