Well it took some time and perseverance but I got my rear lights to work the way I want. I added an F1 style 3rd brake light, and motorcycle blinkers mounted on the diagonals of the rear roll bar.
I added a trailer converter, but my first go around wasn't succesfull. It turned out I needed a powered converter. Thanks to several forum members who put me on the right path, and told me to stick with it.
Made a nice loom out of it, and bought some weather pack connectors to put everything together. The tail lights can be individually removed with a three prong connector each.
Last hurdle was that I had the extra blinkers wired with the tail lights. Then when applying the brake those blinkers came on too. Had to wire them to the RF harness wires.
I used the driver side of the RF harness to connect the converter to, then wired the 3rd brake light to the passenger side of the RF harness.
Last detail was to change over the flashers to electronic flashers.
I have the same blinkers wired in to the front. But they need to be frenched in yet. It's been too cold to use fiberglass.
Hope you enjoy the video, click on pic below

Looks great John, Way to hang in there. Electrical can be a ***** for those that don't do it all the time. It can be that way for those of us that do it all the time as well so................Didn't see it in the video buy you did make sure the blinkers work when the brake pedal is depressed as well right?

Frank,

Yeah, after I posted the vid I remembered I did not show that.
I need to get a new brake pedal switch, but after that it will be all set.

Good to hear, it is always the little things that you run into trouble with. :)
