On the diagram for the wiper hole position. I'm thinking the measurements are not " on center" I would like to verify that before I drill.

They are definitely not centered on anything.

The diagram is unclear. I did on center because I figured at most I would be off 5/16 of an inch. Haven't completed the install yet but have seen on other threads that wiper function is not the best no matter what you do. Definitely going to Rain x both sides of my glass.

wax the window and forgo the wipers...you don't need no stinking wipers :)

Unfortunately New York requires wipers, a defroster and bumpers

I used the diagram and they fit fine. Have not finished the wiring due to no dash yet. Should be up and operating by the weekend.

Nice paint Dale! Thanks all. I'm going out to drill the holes now. When I see a drawing like that it makes me nervous. I like to drill holes once! :D

Do you need wipers in VA? Apparently you don't in Texas because the car I bought from there has an inspection sticker.

Where did you buy the car in Texas? Was it from Texas Classics of Dallas?

My car has wipers but only for show, I use rain-x. My car is registered as an 1965 so no inspection is really needed with antique plates.

Yes - that is correct - just sent you a PM and replied to the other post - Don

Maybe I will just end up going with the antique plates - was just worried about the mileage limitations.

If you register your car in TX as an antique (I did) you only need one plate and no window stickers. It must be inspected by an ASE certified Master Technician. Look at your wipers on your car or truck. They are not centered for a reason.

Thanks - I'm in VA - I'm going down to the DMV once I get the title and see if I can register this as an antique.
