818 improved gas tank

I am due to pick up my 818 kit in about 10 days (I visited FFR in Mass. yesterday). I know that an improved fuel tank is coming soon. Should I request my kit without tank and then get it when the new ones arrive?

They will most likely have you on the new gas tank setup to begin with. And will send it out to you when it comes available. I didn't get a gas tank with my kit and mine was delivered last month.
