Well, one step in the right direction. I got a donor today.

That looks too nice for a donor! Something wrong with it?

nothing wrong with it. I know, I feel kinda bad taking it apart, but it's for a good cause. It even has a full STI interior. I haven't ordered my kit yet, so I might drive it around for a little bit. Better gas mileage than my diesel truck! :)

It doesn't look like a donor. You gotta put a big crease in it to look like the others here!

Nice car. May I ask how much? I am just curious how much they are going for. They are hard to find in FL.

nice. congrats! big fan of those sti seats and the trim around the shifter. At least splash it through some mud or something so we don't have to look at those perfect body panels before you strip it down though. Ha.

yeah, I have been looking for a while here, but Colorado is crazy. Stuff goes for 3 to 4K above blue book value. It's nuts. A car like that one usually sells for 7-8K. I looked at auction cars that are beat up and you don't even know how they run, if they run, etc.... they sell, with all the fees for 4 to 5 K. I got this one for $4700. With the STI interior, I'm thinking I can sell everything I don't need for at least $2k. Not a bad deal at all. I'm happy! :)
