I'm proud to say that for a 3rd year in a row, 33Machine continues to enjoy the privilege of bringing small touches to add to the Factory Five presence on the West Coast. The first year we sponsored the live band-The Fabulous Nomads, which has become a staple in our quest to show that cars and music must go together and must be experienced while viewing your beautiful works of art. The second year, we worked with FFR to bring you the Autocross where we were able to show that we drive these works of art as hard as we polish them and they aren't just trailer queens! And now, this year we have a presence on the flyer as well as the artwork on the back! It's been such a busy year since attending the 818 unveil in Wareham, going to SEMA to get ideas and and building the 818e and we can't wait to bring it down to HB and show it naked!!! (The car, not me). :rolleyes:
I've been working with Factory Five for 4 years now and it's been great. I remember that day where I first met and talked with the crew at SEMA like I'm sure we all do with our first FFR experiences. From there it's been fast forward for sure. Plus getting to meet a lot of new friends and work with Dave Hodgkins on the forums and Karen Salvaggio on the track day stuff. And Car Warriors! What an experience! Thanks for that one Dave, I hope we did you and the brand proud! I personally feel like I have a second family back east with people like Sally, Tony, Dan, Mad Dog, Jason, Megan, Jim, Nate, Tara, Jesse, etc! Thank you for all your assistance with my builds. You will always have a handshake, a hug, and a beer waiting for here in SoCal.
Finally, with the 818, I'm really enjoying meeting the new 818 guys. There was so much enthusiasm and conversation (going both ways) early on and it's great to see the Subie guys understanding and experiencing what it takes to really design and build a car from scratch; and I mean from the manufacturing side. It's not easy! And then to build the car as a beta makes you a part of that process. It's amazing.
Overall, I'm looking forward to all the fun events coming up as well and can't wait to see what FFR has to bring to the table in the coming years.
