Getting ready to mount the FFR supplied "VIN plate" that came with my complete kit - but I'd really like to ensure the font etc used for my Utah assigned VIN number matches the font etc used by FFR when the other information was engraved (Specification, Serial Number and Year of Manufacture).
Is there an opportunity for me to send my FFR supplied plate to the FFR office in Wareham - along with my Utah assigned VIN number - and have it engraved/embossed (using the same process, same font, same size and so on so it all looks the same), and then returned to me?
It is my understanding that the FFR supplied plates are engraved/embossed on a "rotary" engraving/embossing machine - and rotary's are a bit difficult to find in many parts of the country.
I'd gladly cover postage both ways and a "service fee/labor charge" if needed.
Do-able?
