Ford Racing 427 Crate Engine with X Heads

Anyone using the Ford Racing 427 crate engine with the X heads? If so, would appreciate any feedback you can provide.
I guess most folks go for the 535 hp version with the Z heads but the raised exhaust ports limits header selection. The x heads have
the exhaust ports in the standard location but is rated at 85 less horsepower.

Surprised you have not gotten any replies. I know folks out there are using this engine. As you stated the X heads will fit the 351W headers sold by FFR and supplied in their kits.

That's the one I'm currently looking at for the build I'm doing. I'd love to hear any feedback as well...

I have the 535hp in mine and like it very much. Very street-able and sounds great. I put a Super Victor and a Quick Fuel 750 DBL Pump on it. What else would you like to know. ..............also the proper headers from Stainless Headers are VERY nice.
