I'm using the '94 / '95 SVT Mustang brake master cylinder, manual brakes, and the SVT Mustang 13" front / 11.65" rear disc set-up. I've heard conflicting opinions from builders on whether or not to use the stock Mustang distribution / proportioning block. What is FFR's position on this and if the advice is to use it, what are the benefits versus not using it?

Also, the outlets on the '94/'95 donor version I have are a bit different from those on the earlier version which is the one shown in the manual (Mk 3). Does this make a difference?

You want to remove the proportioning block, it is designed to lower the braking force at the rear but with our rear weight bias we are able to use the extra braking force.

On the 94/95 master there are only 2 ports as opposed to 3, no real difference in plumbing except you need an extra "T" fitting in the front line to divide the left and right sides.
