Rear Tail Light hole saw size? (larger light)

I might have overlooked something, but i can't seem to find anything in manual to deal with the larger tail light cutout.
What size hole saw did you use to cutout for the larger lights?
Since there is no aluminum template for them, what technique did you use to center your pilot hole?

Just paint the hole red and be done with it

The manual doesn't say anything because the holes were to come drilled/cut out already. We just measured the grommet today and are picking up a 4" hole saw tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes! :D

I made some cardboard templates and used a harbor freight hole saw kit.
