Just to be honest right up front, this is a totally self serving post. I've been watching the one bookstore in Bakersfield that sells Kit Car Builder magazine waiting for the spring issue to come out. Steve Temple hinted there might be some shots of our gtm in that issue. Finally I got impatient and went to their website to see if it had been released yet. To my horror I found out they were not going to print the mar/apr edition. Instead it would be an all electronic version. At first I was kind of bummed because I would be deprived of asking the cashier who sells me the magazine if they believed that was my car on the cover.
But then I started to think about all the money I would save by just sending an email FB, or text instead of buying 20 copies and sending them to family and friends. And I always have my phone with me. It's hard to carry a magazine with you everywhere you go. Then I seen a pre release of the article and I was in awe. I've been in magazines and read car magazines all my life but have never seen such a complete article. Usually you are lucky if they can give you two or three pages to try and tell the story of your car. I would imagine an electronic version of a magazine would not have those space constraints. Or Steve Temple (new editor) was just generous with me because the pictures he took so well capture the car and the dream behind it.
