Assembled the shocks today. well 3/4 of them.

I have one shock that I cannot get the sleeve over.
I tried all the sleeves on this one shock and could not get any of them to slip over the shock. The shock feels like the end is flared. I twisted a sleeve and got a mark. It looks like the sleeve is hitting around the top of the shock barrel.
Anyone else run into this? What was your fix?

I ran into this on all of mine. I sanded the paint down a bit and it went on. Someone else here used a heat gun to warm up the adjuster and it slid right on.

I kept the sleeves in the warm house and shocks in cold garage, slid on perfectly. Put the shocks in the freezer for an hour and warm up the sleeves with a heat gun or hair dryer. Not so hot that you can't touch it though.
