Does anyone have a photo or two of the e brake handle and how it mounts to the frame? I find the instructions confusing.

Just did this. I will take pictures for you tomorrow. I had to change the way FFR mounts it. Give me your email and I can send them to you.

Here is mine, which uses a modified front bracket.

Thanks, It looks like you will have some side load on the lower part of your lever too. Did you cut grooves in the slotted angle piece of the frame? Tom

I found the e brake handle to be too far away when strapped into the driver's seat. We are going to put a valve in the rear brake line next to the driver's seat to lock up the rear brakes.

Did anyone here forgo the e-brake entirely? I have an auto trans, and was considering not having one at all.

Mike, looking forward to your pics.

Stacked33, thanks for asking. We're scratching heads over the same thing on our build right now.

Just can't figure out the FFR approach with the e-Brake mounting and while modifying it is OK, it seems we shouldn't have to!

What is being referred to as an "emergency brake" most of the time is used as a parking brake. It has been in the same place since the early roadster days with the intention for it to be used as a parking brake. I will be placing the shifter in park (AOD) and the handle just like I do in my daily driver.

I did get it figured out to my satisfaction. I had to cut away the bottom of the slotted angle iron so I had clearance for the cables and clevis as they run so close to the floor. Even though I also have an automatic transmission I prefer to have a "parking brake" also.

I had to trim away some of the aluminum and modify the L brackets to make it fit closer to the tunnel. The cables seem to fit fine without any further cutting.
