I was wondering what you thought the chances were for a 6'3" guy with a 35" inseam fitting in one of these Roadsters? Any input welcome. The few Cobra replicas I have tried I didn't fit in, my knees were all jammed up under the dash. I have not had the chance to test fit a FF. Thanks.

Kirkeys all the way back and flat on the floor should work well for you.

No problem. seat selection and pedal set up it critical. I am 6'3' with a 34" inseam

I agree w/ Gordon. it is definitely possible but is something you will need to work at. And you can pretty much forget about a top. Raising the steering wheel w/ shims under the mount and having a quick release for the wheel are two other things that will help.

Where are you located? If you are planning on attending the HB show in April you can try on my car for size. All your doubts will then fade away. I've had guys 6'11" sit in my car and they could work the pedals. As mentioned above, it's in seat selection, pedal setup, raising the wheel and one or two other details.

FFR also has "big and tall" seats. I am not sure how much extra they give you. I am 6' 1/2" 32 inseam with big feet and fit fine. I think you can work it out.

I'm about 1 1/2 hours north of Phila. in PA, thanks for the offer though. The few kits I sat in so far made it seem like my legs were 9 feet long. I could sit in them, but no way I could ever work the pedals. At least I know now that this is worth looking into. Thanks very much for the responses.

Just for your reference, I'm 6'6", 310+ lbs and wear a size 16 shoe. I'm not sure of my inseam but I don't have a long torso. If you want to "Talk Shop" about my mods send me a PM and I'll give you my cell #.

You can definitely fit in the roadster. With the improvements to the MKIV, much of the "leg work" (PI) is done for you. That doesn't mean you will not have to do some work to make it perfect for your particular shape and size but it is easier than starting with an earlier version. I know you would probably be able to sit in mine as is but the pedals would have to be readjusted some. I have a 32 inch inseam and I can stretch my left leg out straight and not touch. It will never be as comfortable as a OEM sedan but it's a hand built race car with a 90 inch wheelbase!!! Good luck, WEK.

Thanks. Size 16!!!! Holy hell, I thought my 13 wides were a pain in the butt to deal with! Thanks for answering my other question I didn't even ask yet. I wasn't sure if the pedal box would have room. I had an 87 911 Cab for many years & I had to wear driving type shoes or you could VERY easily hit the clutch & brake pedals at once. With running type shoes or boots it was not drivable for me.

There are two really nice Lone Stars here in the Austin area for sale. They have a longer wheel base to make the drivers compartment larger. PM me if you need the contact info.
