Wondered if you could tell me how you judged where to make the cutout for the side pipes. How much should I add to the rock of the motor? Would love a picture , it's only one side that need the room for the torquing of the motor so I'm just wondering what you did.

First, you shouldn't have to try to judge where to make the cutout. With our without FFR provided cutouts, you should make the cutout with body in place lining the sidepipes up to the headers. Just keep in mind the cutout will be slightly behind the headers due to the curve of the pipes. Just take a little at a time. I cut the passenger side to within about 1/2 inch along the top, driver's side about 3/4 inch. It will move up with engine movement. How much depends on your motor mounts. Don't have any great pics, but here's on of the DS side of my Mk3 right after it was done.

Uh... not today. But I do sometimes (OK, often) make typos. That would be DS. Fixed. And, thanks for noticing. :p

I went a little small at first, then held the pipe up, took out a little more, repeat ......repeat......repeat.
