Stainless Steel bolts and washers
"818" is machined on the top of the oil cap
What it does:
Replaces the factory plastic oil fill tube with a shorter CNC'd aluminum piece. If you're cleaning up your motor and deleting the AC and PS this helps complete the finished off look.

$90 + shipping

Soo nice... can't wait to get mine!
Does it come wrapped in carbon fiber like the photos? :p

It can if you really want it too. :D
Also, just for full disclosure, there are some vice marks on the side of the cap. You can see them in the one pic. Not totally happy about that but it is what it is.
EDIT: See below. No more vice marks!

Finished off look is an understatement, more like the jewel on a ring... Congrats.

I wasn't happy with the vice marks and slight tooth path mismatch on the scalloped handle so during my lunctime today I turned down one of the OD's slightly to eliminate the mismatch and vice marks. All parts now have no marks!

Got mine yesterday, along with the ABS plugs and carbon fiber scuff plates. It all looks great... thanks, Craig!

Glad you like them! My first ten parts sold out in less than a week. I placed an order for ten more. Should be a much faster turnaround now that they have all the tooling and a solid cnc program.

The shop making these is on track to have 10 more made by the end of the weekend. At least 2 are already paid for and 1 or 2 already have dibs called.
If you have already paid for one and are waiting shipment feel free to send me a reminder so I don't forget or misread my spreadsheet.
Nolan: dibs
FFRSpec: Paid

how is the location on this shorter fill tube once in the 818 frame? Does it result in a stretch to reach the filler (or a really long funnel of some sort)?
Maybe someone could post up a pic of this with the engine already installed in the car and bodywork on (or mocked up). I agree with others that it looks fantastic on it's own, just looking for perspective.
Thanks!

It's hard to get a good pic showing everything.
First, general shot. The stock oil filler would be over near the oil dip stick. My dipstick was shortened 1.5" so add that to the height of where the oil fill would be. Both locations are inaccessible with a gallon jug IMO. Both could be accessed with a quart sized bottle, though the billet fill tube doesn't flare out at the top like the stocker so you'd probably want to use a funnel anyways. Give the location of the frame pieces both locations might be better served with a funnel.
Overview shot. Dipstick is just under the white wires.

Have confirmation from the shop. I'm picking up 10 of these tonight. So far I have cmcintyre and FFRSpec72 as the only people who have paid and not yet received parts. If anyone else has paid and not received parts, please let me know!
Thanks.

Bump this up. Sold out of my second set and have one request. Anyone else interested at this time?

Have you created a version for the 2.5 NA engine? I know that the diameter of the flange bolt holes is different - not by much, but enough that the current version will not fit.
Cheers,
Dave

Delivered a few Benjamins this morning to get work started. I'll update as soon as parts are ready.
As a side note (Dave, please delete if this is not allowed), Killer Machining Solutions is a small 1 guy shop that makes a couple of parts for me (notably, this oil fill tube and cap). Chase Bank is holding a competition to award money to small businesses, aka "Main Street" (as opposed to wall street). The first phase requires that you earn 250 votes. Tony, owner of KMS, would certainly appreciate your help in growing his shop. As a customer of his I would appreciate your votes for him as well.

Three months later, here we are. I have 10 sets. The cap is a little different this time. Instead of the recess it's flat and it's polished. The 818 stands out a little better that way.
