Hello everyone, I've been fallowing Factory Five for a long time especially the GTM and 818s. I think I might be ready to drop the cash on a 818 soon but I haven't had the chance to see one in person yet, are there any owners in Maryland or the neighboring states that wouldn't mind showing their cars off? or does anyone know of any upcoming car shows in the area where I might be able to check one out? I really appreciate any help. I'm very hesitant to spend that amount of money on something I've never laid hands on.

Hey JT, I used to live in Germantown MD and am still sort of in the area (in VA now). There is at least 1 other person in MD that has received their 818 kit (K3LAG) but it is in the process of being built. There are very few 818's that are complete and driving around. I'm about 3 weeks away from picking up my kit from FFR and starting my build. You're welcome to stop by and check out the build in the next few months. Also, the waiting list for an 818 is at least a year so you could always put down a deposit to reserve a place in line and cancel later if you reconsider. I believe there would only be a $275 cancellation fee so you'd get $750 back of four $1k deposit.
