This is my first post
Has anybody used a Flaming River tilt/telescopic steering column on the MK II Roadster?
I am using a Flaming River manual rack and was wondering what length column I would need.

I took a serious look at those parts 12 years ago when I was building my MII. Like anything else, you can do it with enough fabrication. But it wouldn't be easy. It's also expensive, and other than looks there's no real advantage to it.
I did put one in my '66 Mustang, though. The kit was specifically designed for the car. What a PITA it was to install! And I wasn't all that impressed with the component quality, either. After that experience, I decided not to use their columns again.

I recently had to work on a 1967 Camaro with flaming river column and rack. Nothing fit right and lots of binding in the shafts and ujoints. I can not recommend their stuff. Idiit has better stuff IMO.

What I was looking for was column length. Any steering column manufacturer would work for me.
Some thing with turn signal, tilt and ignition switch is what I would really like.

I think if you do some measuring you'll find than any manufacturer's tilt mechanism will move the wheel rearward to the point of being uncomfortable for the driver.
