Any suggestions on aftermarket three point seatbelts? Has anyone fitted both the racing harness that comes with the kit AND a seatbelt. I suspect it would look too lame but I want to drive this thing fairly regularly and it seems the racing harness would be a hassle.
Also, are there any recommendations on sliding seat bracets. I am building this car with my son who is shorter than me (6' 4" vs 5' 8") and I would love for him to fit in it comfortably.

I bought a set of the factory five seat slides and ended up changing and going with the Breeze mounts. They are adjustable however not very easily. I like the fact that they tip the seat back about an 1 1/2" which makes it much more comfortable. I am also 5'8" but still needed more space between my torso and the steering wheel because I am using a quick release on the steering wheel which adds to the overall dimension. It solved two problems by going with the Breeze mounts plus the quality is unparalleled.

I have had the FFR supplied harness in my roadster for 10 years without any problems (probably need to replace the belts due to age sun exposure). I can now get in the seat and fasten the harness in about twice the time it takes with a 3-point belt in my F250.

I went with the Glide Engineering seat slides. They work GREAT. Also used Wesco's three-point roadster-type harness with the cool, aircraft style vintage buckles. I had to fab some upper brackets out of HEAVY steel - and had to order extra long buckle lengths (14"). But everything works just like on a real car. If you go with the racing harnesses supplied by FFR, you will never use them - or at least you will never use the shoulder belts. In addition to the fact that it takes forever to buckle them, once tightened properly (if they are not tightened snugly, they are actually DANGEROUS to wear), you can't reach the dash to adjust the radio, air conditioning, etc. Seriously, it takes, what, five seconds to click the latch into the buckle on a 3-point harness? If you go to my build thread, there are pictures of the brackets I fabbed - and where I mounted them. ERIC

Do you have any pics of these belts? Thanks
