My car is painted and the doors previously fit nicely (installed by someone else). I have had to make some adjustments that have required me to remove my doors. Also, I have fully glassed in windows/doors which might make my situation more of a pain. One might think you can simply close the doors and tighten everything up, or even slip a shim under the door, close and tighten up, but no. Unfortunately I have damaged my paint. The tolerances on all sides and angles are super tight.
There are 8 bolts which affect the way the door closes. Anyone found any good tricks to get them all correct so the door will open and close (fully) and not hit anything?
Thanks,
Gary
