Hello all,

It's been an awfully long winter in the Northeast but the season will be upon us before we know it. After tracking the coupe for the past few years with pin drive width IRS I have decided to go cold turkey, cutting off the IRS in favor of a solid rear axle.

In order to help me choose a good baseline to start at, I'd love to hear from the competition coupe club members what spring rates (front and rear) they have had success with on the track. Also, what make/model shocks and springs do you suggest I go with...Koni DAs?

Karen, Tom, JC, Mark D, Hank, et al, what say ye?

Thanks,

Dan

Wow Dan
I just found this thread Sorry I missed it.
Good call on loosing the IRS.
I would use a full floating .8 or 9 inch
The koni Da shocks seam to be common on comp cars So I would use them
also I would start with 500 front springs using a front bar
and 350 rear springs of coarse with the shocks in the new locations, outboard of the frame.
then you can change up as needed.
While at it use the new FFR front spindles and upper arms with bushings.
