Wanted Mustang seats, from donor or other.

I have a friend restoring an 85 Mustang. Does anyone have or know someone that has a donor car or seats from their donor they want to sell. Any condition is fine as he plans to recover the seats anyway. I believe the seats from 85-89 were the same.

the '85 - '86 seats were different from later models. they were the cool ones built kinda like recaros with the open halo headrest. I've got two gray with red piping '85 gt seats. I'd take $200 for the pair. they're almost mint, they came out of a 45,000 mile car and the foam is still in great shape. let me know if you're interested and i'll send some pics.

Does your friend not know that the upholstery and foam is reproduced now? As long as he has good solid seat frames from the car he could just recover those. Or are his originals missing altogether?

Not trying to take anything away from CF's purchase offer, but if he has the original seats to the car why not use them and keep them with the car?
