I have the F5 upper control arms that come with the MK4 complete kit.
These apparently are the latest version from F5 that have the angled ball joint socket. I think some call them the "Goldie's" or something.. the ball joint socket is gold..

I replaced the upper ball joints with the Moog 772 ones. (These fit great by the way)

Also, after doing some reading on the forums, I purchased the Energy Suspension model 5-13102G grease boots.

So now, I have 3 grease boots to choose from: (see attached photo)
-the ones that came with the kit
-the ones that came with the Moog's
-the Energy Suspension ones

I am hesitating on the Energy Suspension 13102G's as it just doesn't look like the fit correctly. I understand that they will change once the spindle is installed however I don't want to mess this up.

So.... I am just looking for confirmation (photos would be awesome) from anyone that has used the Energy Suspension 5-13102G's with the new gold Upper Control Arms.

Or, should I use one of the other options??

Thanks in advance for any responses

I can tell you that the boots do not actually attach around the bottom of the sleeve that the BJ is threaded into. On most street cars they would be stretched around the outside of the sleeve and may even have a wire spring in them to help them stay in position. On an FFR it is different. As you can see, w/ the angle that the plate is welded to the sleeve, there isn't enough sleeve below the plate for at least half of it's circumference to allow that. So they just get squished between the upper surface of the spindle and the lower edge of that sleeve. The ES boot has been a great solution for a long time so I would use it.
