I spoke with Robert at Bendpak this morning. Here is what he told me:

"I also just learned that the forum members will all be receiving the upgraded version of the BL-3500, with an additional locking position and casters for even easier transportation."

However, he has only received six (6) orders for lifts. We need at least eight (8). I know that a lot more than 8 members expressed interest in these lifts and we are getting a great break on the price.

We have also approached them about becoming a Supporting Vendor and what a better way to convince them then by purchasing their product(s.)

Robert called me a few hours ago......Turns out that the information that he was given concerning the new version of the lift is incorrect. He called me as soon as he learned about this and was extremely apologetic. If you still want the updated version, they are several months out. Robert also promised me that he fully vet any additional information before passing it onto me.

I would like to apologize to all that made the decision to participate in this group buy based on this incorrect information, but I think that you will be more than happy with the current version of the lift.
