Is anyone else looking forward to seeing well-built 818's in the hands of reviewers for publicity? The 818 is mainly for the younger generation to get into this and young people use YouTube. Stations like EvoTV, AutoCar, Drive and others would be great. Honestly, I think Drive would be the best channel especially in the hands of Chris Harris. Or, going higher, you could look to get on US or even UK Top Gear!

Top Gear UK has a policy against small independent companies. If they dont like your car, they dont want to feel responsible about ruining your reputation and bankrupting you. (Clarkson wrote this somewhere)

I dont think Chris Harris would feature this car, but I'm pretty sure Matt Farrah would. I think he'd get quite a kick out of it :)

BAC isn't a particular big company either. Believe me, I know Top Gear UK is a stretch. Top Gear US is a stretch. I do think that /DRIVE is the best target for something like this as their YouTube videos garner tons of views and their presenters are fair and overall more willing to be favorable than to put something down. They often see the good in something whereas with Top Gear UK especially, they're going to find the bad in an American car and make sure they leave on that note.

Matt Farah and Chris Harris are excellent reviewers and either would be thrilled to get in a well-sorted 818R or S, I'm sure.

My point is that the Ariel Atom was made by a small company - at least as I understand it - which causes me to question the statement about Top Gear not featuring specialty cars by smaller manufacturers.

There is also a big difference between a car company and a kit car company. I would love to see some more videos but either top gear is wishful thinking.
