I know they're not great but they do fill out the wheel wells nicely. I haven't been able to find T/A radials in 295-50-15 for a while. While placing an on-line order for tires for my truck I figured I check and they were listed as "in stock". Four arrived today. If anybody has been looking for a set looks like now is the time.

Good to know. The Radial T/A's in 275/50-15 haven't been around for a while, either. I'm hoping they'll make a comeback. I spoke w/a Coker Tire rep at their booth at the BJ auction in Scottsdale last January, and they've got nada in that size. I've got over 15K on my rears and they'll need to be replaced some day...

Thanks,
Will

I had heard that Coker was going to be the source for T/As in 295-50-15 but the paperwork and stickers don't reference Coker. They just look like other BFGs that I've purchased. Good luck with your 275s.

What's the narrowest wheel that the 295-50-15 will safely fit?

IIRC the recommended range for these is 8-11 inches. I tried a pair on eights and the side walls look a bit bulged. They look perfect on 10s. The ones I just received are going o 9.5 Vintage pin drives.

If you are considering using this size tire on eight inch rims I could probably find a photo of how the combo looks.

255-60-15 was the size I was ordering when I found the 295s. I had three choices, BFG, Firestone and Goodyear. I waited a day and the Goodyears became "out of stock". I think there are some drag radials in the size too.
