That is Awesome.

How is boost control handled with this setup?

The ecu is only boost limited by the MAP sensor installed on the motor. If you put a 5 BAR sensor on then 57 psi :)

Does it use the factory wastegate solenoid?

You can use the factory or the preferred aftermarket boost control solenoid. The stock one has to have a restrictor in the feed line or it gets overwhelmed as it's flow capabilities are very low.

Your post disappeared because there are two threads with the same exact name in different categories. You aren't crazy :)

Does this support the JDM engines ?

I would like to use a keyless system with my S harness. With some security/ battery switch. I will also use the AIM system you had suggested.

I believe it will work fine with the JDM engines.

What was the price for the S version? I like the simplicity of this, but I still would like to do horn/signals/headlights. seems like it wouldn't be hard to add those 3 circuits to this.

Is the fan switch an "on" over-ride? ie does the fan come on/off via a temp sensor?

When you say it runs the dash, do you mean interface with something like a RacePak dash?

The S version is $2150 and runs horn, factory instrument cluster, wipers, hazards, turn signals, back up lights, high beams, low beams. The high beams, low beams, tail lights and horn require a relay each, the turn and hazard require a no load flasher each, then add two wires from front to rear for the turns, another two wires to the front for the marker lights and horn. So adding those "3 circuits" is more involved.

Yes the R harness is set up to run the AIMsports, Racelogic and Racepak dashes. The fan switch is an override as the ECU sets the fan turn on/off temp. The light below the switch comes on whether the ECU or switch turns the fans on.

I could add the switch panel to the S harness for $100 extra.

Wayne-
How much for the Racepak IQ3 dashes (Display only and Display/Datalogger)? Thanks

how much of the factory wiring harness is required for the S version?

I have a set of pics with the cut lines on the harness but it's the engine plug(s), both harnesses on the passenger side of the motor at the grommets, fan plugs, dash sub harness with two plugs, steering column harness, brake/clutch plugs and one of relay blocks.

I take that to be the front harness, bulkhead harness (in engine) and bulkhead (in compartment), instrument panel harness according to the wiring diagrams

Wayne - does the light also function as a "warning light" for the fan condition? ie if the ECU or switch are set to operate the fan, but it's dead, will the light stay off?

Wayne Presley

If the fan is on, the light is on whether you flip the switch or the ECU turns it on.
