818 UCA strait vs slanted

The first kits came with slanted holes for the ball valves, one side had to be flipped and the rod cut. Then kits started coming with strait holes, so no flipping/cutting was required. I just recieved my completion parts and I have one of each, am I'm not the only one. Can someone confirm if this is a mistake in packaging, or a new setup? I thought it was supposed to be sorted with the strait UCA's.

My kit is 116 and it came with 2 straight. Mounting was pretty straightforward and I went with grease fittings pointing up.

Finally had time to call, they're sending me another strait and I'm sending back the slanted one.
