Hi Guys I am trimming down the wiring harness and keeping the Computer and fuel and starter circuits. The TGV's are gone with the motor and sensors.

Can the PVC diagnosis connector, power steering oil pressure switch,Purge control solenoid, pressure solenoid valve,Drain valve fuel tank sensor control valve and fuel tank pressure sensor all be removed and then programed out of the computer so there are no codes thrown for these issues?
I am in the heavy part of separating the engine/computer harness from the rest of the wiring and it would be easier to cut some of the unused circuits rather then remove the pins from the connectors.
Thanks Don

I have removed all those curcuits. Beware though. I have not started mine yet to confirm that its ok. Also beware. I found a heavy black wire with an orange stripe that is labeled ground, which it is. BUT there is also a hevay black and orange wire that is ignition powered. Triple checked it and thats the way it was wired from the factory. Something to look out for during your wire diet.

Hey Micheal Great timing. I am into the wiring today and happened upon the exact wire you are talking about.
The Engine Electrical system Data link connector B40 has both the Black/red wires on it.
Pin 1 goes to the main power distribution block MB-9.
Pins 12 and 13 go to and engine bay ground GE-1 up in the engine harness.
Great info here if using the factory harness!!

Thanks For the heads up!! Don

Scary isn't it? Who would have thought they would do that?
